Who Wants To Win a Bike?

UPDATE – THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED.  NO ADDITIONAL ENTRIES WILL BE CONSIDERED

A few weeks back we ran a competition to give away an Apple iPad. Now we want to do the same again, but this time we want to give away something even better!!!

Given that the sun has started shining, and that it’s National Bike Week this month (19th June – 27th June), we’ve teamed up with our friends at Evan’s Cycles who are providing us with £500 worth of cycling gear to give away. That’s right – the winner of this competition will win £500 worth of Evan’s Cycles vouchers to spend on whatever you want. So you could get that shiny new bicycle you’ve been thinking about, or those expensive new tyres you need for doing some gnarly offroading.

What do you need to do to have a chance of winning this fantastic prize? Well, it’s really quite simple. We want to publish an interview with Evan’s Cycles, here on our blog, and we want YOU to be the interviewer. We want you to submit one cycling related question for Evan’s Cycles that will be asked in our interview. You might want to ask:

• Where’s your favourite off-road cycle track?
• How should I optimise my front suspension for some gnarly downhill?
• Who would win in a bike race – Batman or Spiderman – and why?

Your question needs to be sent to competitions@reviewcentre.com with the subject line “I really want to win a bike!”, and we’re accepting entries until midnight on 30th June.

The 10 best questions will then form the basis of the interview which we’ll publish on 12th July, with the best question as chosen by Evan’s Cycles being picked to win the prize.

The person you’ll be interviewing is this chap:

Nick Coley

Gnarly Offroad

Hi my name is Nick Coley, and I have worked for Evans Cycles for 8 years. I have been riding and racing bikes since the early 90’s, taking part in my first XC race in 1993 (Gorrick race at Surrey Hill). Since then I have competed in Southern XC races, National XC races, 1 World Cup XC race as a Junior, Mountain Mayhem (team and solo), Bontrager 24/12, Sleepless in the Saddle, Set2Rise, Are you Tough Enough Enduro, Marathon races and recently completing my 2nd Absa Cape Epic in South Africa. I now race for Team Mule Bar with 2 other managers from Evans Cycles. You will easily be able to spot us at any races! Just look out for the strudel Green Mule Bar kit and come say hi! I’m also riding over at Leith Hill and Hombry Hill, Tunnel Hill, Afan, Coed-y-Breinin when ever I get time, and commuting on my road bike from Guildford to Gatwick (not every day mind!).
