This week the latest Samsung phone, the Galaxy Nexus, is released. The Galaxy Nexus is the first phone to have the latest version of Android’s operating system Ice Cream Sandwich. The Ice Cream Sandwich combines the best of the Android Gingerbread and the Honeycomb platforms, to give you a greater user experience. One of the amazing features the Galaxy Nexus has is that it unlocks itself when it recognises your face, using a feature called Face Unlock.
The Galaxy Nexus comes with a huge 4.65 inch HD screen. With this screen you will be able to see your pictures in crisp vivid colours, due to the HD Super AMOLED screen that has been integrated in the Galaxy Nexus. Not only is the screen quality amazing, but this phone also comes with outstanding 1080p HD video, allowing you to capture those precious moments perfectly.
If you’re more of a camera person, the 5 megapixel camera may suit you more, with its LED flash and zero shutter lag, making it even faster for you to take those special pictures. You can even use the Galaxy Nexus to capture any panoramic shots you want.
When you hold the Galaxy Nexus, you realise how sleek the design is. It is really cool the way the navigation only appears when you want to use them. Although the Galaxy Nexus looks quite big, it is only 8.5mm thick, and even has a textured back, making it easy for you to carry around.
The Galaxy Nexus has a 1.2GHz dual–core processor, which really speeds things up, so you will be able to download rapidly and also play video games without any glitches. But this is dependent on what kind of signal you’re getting. With this phone you will easily be able to multi-task, so you will not have the excuse of never having enough time.
We would love to know what you think, tell us by commenting below, or by adding your own review, letting everyone know what you thought about the Galaxy Nexus.
