Some of you may be aware that E3 2011 is currently underway, and oh, how we’ve been spoiled so far. This has to be my favourite bit of news to come out of the event so far. Microsoft hit a blinder by showing the Halo 4 trailer at the end of their conference. HALO 4!!!!
No longer developed by Bungie, 343 Industries (aka 343i) have taken up the mantle of developing the next instalment of the single biggest franchise for Microsoft and XBox. No announcement was made as to whether Halo 4 would be available for the Xbox 360, or it’s successor, but you did a glimpse of the Halo 4 release date – Holiday 2012. Quite which holiday that is is another question entirely, but one would presume it’s Christmas. Anyway – here’s the trailer all you Halo fans have been waiting for, picking up where Halo 3 left off:
