Get On Yer Bike

Cyclists

With all this amazing weather we’re having at the moment, now is the perfect time to get on your bike and spend your weekends exploring the amazing countryside Englandshire has to offer (if you’re not doing so already that is). With the help of a few other keen cyclists, I’ve compiled this list of handy websites & apps that any keen cyclist needs to know about. If there are any more that you think we should know about, please feel free to drop us a line.

Mapping & Routes

If you’re a real cycling nerd, you’re going to want to keep track of where you’re riding and how fast you were shooting down that hill. These sites will help you do that. Some of them even have apps that’ll do it for you via your fancy iPhone. Others will be able to tell you where to find that gentle Sunday afternoon ride in the park you’ve been looking for.

Technical

Don’t know a derailleur hanger from a crankarm? You’re never going to want to get stuck with a puncture and not know how to fix it, so make sure you hone your bike fixing skills before you leave the house:

Shopping

Want to know where to pick up that new full suspension mountain bike from? Or maybe you’re just after some new accessories – whatever you’re after, check out the sites below:

And now that you’ve got all of that sorted, I want to see you out cycling like this. Don’t forget to check out our bike reviews neither.
