Fireworks displays in London

This Saturday is Guy Fawkes Night and there are plenty of firework displays across the capital this year.

We’ve picked out some of the most popular events around London this weekend:

Friday the 4th of November

Wimbledon Park Fireworks – £7

This year’s bonfire night in Wimbledon Park features two firework displays. The first is aimed at children and has a Disney theme with a “Best of British” show later in the evening. There are is also a fairground plus stalls, food and drink.

Battersea Park Fireworks – £10 on the door

The fireworks at this year’s display in Battersea Park are being organised by the same company that has created displays for St. Patrick’s Day Festival and The Lord Mayor’s Thames Festival. Food and drink is available from a range of stalls including traditional fare such as toffee apples and roasted chestnuts.

Lord Mayor’s Show and Fireworks Display – Free

Yup, we know this isn’t actually for this weekend but we just couldn’t miss this off our list. Featuring more than half a tonne of huge fireworks, this display is set to be a spectacular site on the River Thames. Head to the riverside to watch what the organisers are calling “one of London’s grandest” displays.

The show starts at 5pm.

We’d recommend checking the organiser’s website if the weather is bad just in case the event gets cancelled or moved plus remember to wrap up warm as you’ll be standing around in the open for several hours (warm footwear is a must for us!)

If you think your local display deserves a mention visit our Facebook page and let us know!

Remember, remember… to come back and let us know how good the display was. Leave your firework display review.
