Films to Watch in March

It looks like there are some cracking films out in March, so we thought we’d do a quick roundup of all that’s worth going to watch.

Rango

Rango is released on Friday 4th March, and it looks absolutely incredible! Just watch the trailer above to see for yourself. Featuring Johnny Depp as Rango, a swashbuckling chameleon who finds himself in a Western town plagued by bandits. This looks like one of those films that will be equally entertaining whether you’re a kid or an adult.

Tempest

In case you fancied getting all Thespian on us, Tempest is released on 4th March. Featuring Dame Hellen Mirren and Russel Brand, this is Julie Taymor’s realisation of Shakespeare’s classic about alchemy and witchcraft.

World Invasion: Battle LA

Now this looks like my kind of film – alien invasion, spaceships, and guns – it looks all kinds of awesome. Released on 11th March, and featuring Aaron Eckhar, World Invasion: Battle LA tells the story of an alien invasion of LA.

Submarine

If you’re not into animation, Shakespeare, or aliens, then this quirky Brit-flick might be right up your street. Featuring a cast that many cinema-goers will fail to recognise (although this is by no means a bad thing), Submarine is already getting rave reviews from the festival circuit. It’ll be released in cinemas on 18th March.

Don’t forget that you can read reviews of your favourite films over at Review Centre, or have a go at reviewing these films yourself – we’d love to hear what you think.
