You’re sat in the cinema; trying to get as comfortable as possible before the film starts (does anyone actually like cinema seats?) and are ready to be immersed into the story and forget your real life for a couple of hours. But then it happens, one of the main actors opens their mouth and out spills a bad attempt at an accent and it’s ruined. You spend the next 110 minutes trying to ignore them as they stumble around different areas and sometime countries.
I’d sometimes rather the actor just recognise that they just can’t pull it off and keep to their own natural voice (like Sean Connery in The Untouchables and he still won an Oscar). So in light of what appears to be a bad batch of Nottingham accents in Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood (sorry Russell, but I lived in the East Midlands for many years and your accent is a fail) take a look my pick of the worst accents from film and television that nearly made me turn on the subtitles. If you’re about 30 years old, you probably spent a lot of your time when you’re meant to be studying for your GCSEs & A-Levels playing Goldeneye. I know it’s certainly

We wanted to share a brand new feature that we have launched on the site.
After noticing that lots of you were asking questions about companies and products in comments we decided to make it easier to get those questions seen and answered. We call it Q&A – questions and answers.
So how does it work?
Anyone can ask a question
You’re thinking about buying a digital camera but can’t decide between the Sony and the Canon, you want to know which is the best for low exposure photos.
Now you can ask an owner what they think. You go to each item and ask your questions:
“Do you recommend this camera for low exposure shoots?”
Anyone can answer a question
Whilst reviewing your vacuum cleaner you notice that another member has left a question about it and you think you can help so you leave your answer.
“Yes, it’s great for pet hair. Especially on the sofas!”
Become an expert
You bought yourself a top of the
range VW Golf and have owned it now for several months. Yes, it has its quirks but you would recommend it to anyone.
You can now make yourself an expert on the site.
If another member asks a question on the VW Golf you own you will be sent an email asking if you can help answer it. It’s that simple. Click the link and submit your answer.
“I had the same problem. Take it to your local garage and ask them to check the tyres.”

Let’s see the steps you can take:
Rubber Weather Sealing
These are a good way of making sure your windows are secure against drafts from the outside. You can find them at most hardware or DIY stores sold as strips or even self-stick sealing. You can cut them according to your needs and the dimensions of the windows themselves. All you have to do is cut them, peel them and Continue reading
As they say, beauty begins within. Whatever you put on your face, if you wear confidence like a killer pair of heels, people will naturally be attracted to you. First of all, stop slumping. Not only does good posture show your body off at its best, but it shows that you’re assertive.
Smile naturally and make eye contact with the people you meet. Strangers will want to get to
know you better, especially if you’re looking at your best. Beauty is not just what you wear, but a Continue reading
